Regional VP of Employee Experience, UKISSA, TP
Hi there!
I’m Lisa Dolan, and I absolutely love working to create workplaces where everyone feels included, valued, and empowered. Right now, I’m the Regional Vice President of Employee Experience for TP UKISSA (UK, Ireland, and Sub-Saharan Africa) – a mouthful, I know! My job is all about building a culture where people feel they belong and enjoy what they do.
I’m also super proud to be part of the Purpose Coalition Advisory Council, where I get to work with amazing professionals to tackle government changes that affect businesses. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to get some lovely recognition, the most recent receiving a special recognition award at the Purpose Coalition Impact Awards and being the People Operations – Impact Award winner for 2024 presented by the UK & IRE CEO Karl Wise, Employee Engagement Innovator of the Year award in 2024, being featured on the Purpose Powerlist in 2024, and making the HR Most Influential Top Practitioners list in 2023.
At TP, I lead an incredible team focused on making our colleagues’ experiences better – from the moment they join us to their day-to-day wellbeing and engagement. Thanks to their hard work, TP UK has been named a Great Place to Work for five years running – how cool is that? Our team has also bagged awards for Best Employee Recognition Scheme and Health & Wellbeing Programme, and in 2024, we snagged the Employee Engagement of the Year award at the Personnel Today Awards.
Honestly, I’ve poured my heart into shaping how people feel about working at TP. From revamping the monthly recognition program to creating a wellbeing and mental health toolkit, I’ve been all about helping people feel like they belong and are part of something special. Listening to our colleagues and acting on what they need is at the core of everything I do.
Let’s rewind a bit – my career spans over 20+ years in the BPO industry. I started out as a customer service agent on a utilities account (ah, memories) and worked my way through roles in client services, quality assurance, project and product management, and operations support. It’s been quite the journey!
When it comes to leadership, I’m all about inclusivity, empathy, and always striving to do better. Creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and appreciated is what drives me. My grandma’s wise words – “If you can choose to be anything in life, choose to be good, nice, and kind” – have stuck with me. I really believe kindness can make the world a better place, and I try to pass that along every day.
Outside work? Oh, life is busy but wonderful! I’ve got three awesome kids – Emily (17), Oliver (13), and Poppy (8) – and have been married to Martin for eight lovely years. We share our home with two cheeky black cats, Itsy and Bitsy, plus Luna, our bubbly Labrador. And when I’m not juggling family and work, I volunteer for the RSPCA, helping with branch marketing and social media stuff – it’s my way of giving back.
